Man brutally killed his mother

Vizianagaram, June 16: Here a terrific incident has unveiled, while a daily wage worker allegedly killed his 70-year-old mother by hacking her throat when she was in asleep at Jami village of Vizianagaram district in the wee hours on Thursday.

The accused has been identified as Satyanarayana, a resident of Jami village.

According to Jami SI S Raju, the accused is eking out his living as a daily wager or a carpenter. Suspecting the fidelity of his wife, Satyanarayana decided to end his life.

However, he thought that how her mother would live after his death. So, he decided to kill her before committing suicide.

At around 4.30 am on Thursday, he slit the throat of his mother with a hacksaw blade, while she was sleeping.
After the crime, he could not dare to end his life and fled the village, the SI said.

It is learnt that Satyanarayana was suffering from psychological disorder and has been under medication.A case has been registered.
