AP Govt to launch e-Treasury Offices

Andhra Pradesh: Vijayawada, June 15: The Andhra Pradesh Government has decided to shift all the treasury offices into paper free from October onwards.The Govt also planned to do the all transactions through online, which will be fully computerized.

The Treasury offices in the state will be turned into 'e-treasury' offices. There is a total of 200 sub-treasury and 13 district offices in 13 districts of the state.

All of these treasury transaction activities are doing in the paper form.Then the Payment process is delayed due to some officials bribing the bills and commissions. On the other hand, pensions, scholarships, and other payments are delayed by some corrupted people.

The government is likely to change the all offices to 'e-treasury' offices to prevent these irregularities. This can not be physical and paper form in a single billing office.

If the all transactions will be done in the online process, then there will be no chance to misuse the govt money.There should be a particular detail of each and every transaction and ease to check the funds' misusage.

The government has allowed filling the 110 subordinate vacancies through the outsourcing.The treasury offices consist 349 lowest employees, there are 110 vacancies.

The Finance Department has approved the Treasury Department to replace them with the outsourcing process.
