Good news for AP Secretariat employees

Andhra Pradesh: Amaravati, June 15: The Railway Board has approved the two trains(12795 and 12796) to stop at Mangalagiri, which were travels between Secunderabad-Vijayawada for the sake of AP Secretariat employees.

The orders were issued by the Southern Railway officials here on Tuesday.

The Railways had started two trains between Secunderabad and Vijayawada in last year to allow the secretariat employees come to the Hyderabad during weekends in the wake of the change of the AP Secretariat from Hyderabad.

However, these trains are stopped in Guntur and Vijayawada stations only, while the employees are suffering.

The Chief Secretary Satish Chandra, who observed the matter, has written a letter to the Railway authorities asking them to stop the two services in Mangalgiri. In these trains, a special coach would be set up for women and asked to reduce travel time from 5.20 am to 4.30 pm.

The Railway Board, which took into consideration the letter, allowed 12795 and 12796 trains to stop at Mangalgiri station. The train departed from Secunderabad, it does not stop at all except Guntur, Mangalgiri and Vijayawada stations.
