Task Force Police seized 46Kgs of Ganja

Vishakapatnam, June 14: The City Task Force Police has conducted raids and seized the 46Kgs Ganja by knowing the information regarding the illegal transportation of ganja.

The CTF team led by ACP I. Chittibabu conducted raids at the bus stop near Railway station main entrance here on Tuesday and arrested Y. Rama Naidu, a resident of Pedapadu of Dumbriguda Mandal in the district and seized 46 kgs of ganja (23 packets), which has a market value of about Rs. 1,84,000, from him.

During interrogation, the accused disclosed that he had procured ganja from G-Madugula surrounding agency areas and was transporting the same to Madhya Pradesh.

The apprehended person along with the seized property has been handed over to SHO, Fourth Town police station for further investigation.
