Government upgrades security features

New Delhi June 14: A good news for government employees. The central government is considering to upgrade the security systems of computers by installing additional features. The issue was discussed at a meeting held by the home ministry and it was attended by various representatives of security agencies.

Sources say that union ministry or concerned department will be held responsible for the security of computer systems of the ministry and department. The overall in charge of cyber security will be headed by the home ministry.

Sources said that furthermore discussions are required to upgrade the systems. The meeting assumes significance because recently 1,44,496 cyber security attacks were observed in the country in past 3 three years and also to face threats such as ransomware attacks which affected the major global countries.

Let's hope that central government will soon upgrade the security of computers so that data remains encrypted.
