Infant boy Kidnapped in Tirumala

Tirupati, June 14: Here a shocking incident has appeared in Tirumala Tirupati, while a 1 yr old boy was kidnapped at the main temple in Tirumala here on Wednesday morning.

In-depth into the matter, The Chennakesava, the son of a poor couple from Saipuram in Anantapur district was kidnapped by a person when his mother was still asleep in the early hours.

The entire kidnap incident was caught on a CCTV and the police swung into action to nab the kidnappers.

A man in a pair of jeans and a white full-sleeved shirt picked the boy from the place where Venkatesh, his wife, and their three other kids were sleeping and walked away from the spot.

A woman who was waiting nearby later joined the kidnapper and took the child into her arms. She was wearing a pink colored Punjabi dress. The woman carried the kid on her shoulder and covered him with her chunni as the man carried their baggage.

The police after examining the CCTV footage launched a manhunt in major centers in the town and also in the neighboring districts. The inspector said the kidnappers will be nabbed very soon and the kid will be safe.
