Sindhu,Saina storms into second round

Jakarta June 14: A good news from Indian sports players. Indian Badminton Players have advanced into the Second round of Indonesian Open. Saina Nehwal had won Against Thailand's Ratchanok Intanon on Tuesday. She has defeated the player by scoring 17-21, 21-18, 21-12 .she has suffered a loss in the first set but later fought back.

Also, Rio Olympic Silver medallist PV Sindhu has won the game against Pornpawee Chochuwong. She advanced to the second round by scoring 21-12,21-19.

PV Sindhu will face Beiwen Zhang in next round of the tournament.
Saina will face Thailand's Nitchaon Jindapol in the second round.

Earlier , Indian team of mixed doubles pair of Ashwini Ponnappa and B Sumeeth Reddy has exited the tournament after they have lost in the first round to Indonesia's Irfan Fadhilah and Weni Anggraini. They have lost by 12-21, 9-21.

Let's hope that Indian players perform well in future rounds.
