High Court directed Guntur Officials to submit land certificates

Guntur, June 13: The High Court has directed the CRDA Commissioner and Chief Secretary of AP Municipal Council and Guntur District Collector to submit the certificates in the case filed by the authorities claiming that the officials are discriminating against the land allotted to the land reforms scheme for the construction of AP new capital Amaravati.

The common bench High Court Justice Raja Elango has issued directions on Monday.The next hearing was postponed to two weeks.There are around 31 farmers from Palam, Rayapudi and Thallayipalem have been approached High Court.

The judge, who took into consideration the arguments on both sides during the hearing on Monday, refused to give interim orders while retaining the placement of the plots as required by the petitioners. The notice was issued to the defendants and ordered to file the certificates.
