Hyderabad, October 20: In order to put the TRS government in a fix, the Telangana Congress is all set to wage a war on crop loan waiver and free reimbursement. The party is going to remind the TRS government that it failed to fulfill its election promises even after two and half years of coming to power.
The T. Congress is going to organize Rythu Garjana in Mahabubabad district on Thursday. The party will take applications from about 40 lakh farmers on loan waiver and fee reimbursement dues from about 14 lakh students directly from October 21 for one month.
Later all these applications would be send to Chief Minister K Chandrashekar Rao to put pressure on him.
After Rythu Garjana, the Congress will fight on other public issues of women, labour problems etc, along with its affiliated associations.
The Congress is gearing up to conduct a huge public meeting on December 2, as the TRS government will complete two and half years of rule on the day. PCC president Uttam Kumar Reddy said the State government is canvassing that the public are happy during its tenure but in fact none is happy at grassroot level.
He gave a call to all to fight for double bedroom houses, aarogyasri problems, compensation for farmers for crop loss due to the recent rains etc. He alleged that corruption is rampant in Mission Bhagiratha and other schemes.
