HJS to organize a meet on Beef ban

Panaji, June 11: A meeting will be held in the upcoming week. Hindu organizations from different parts of the country and abroad will hold a 4-day convention scheduled from June 14 in Goa.

Hindu Janjagruti Samiti the main organizers of the function said that "The main agenda of the meeting is to demand an all-India ban on consumption of beef."

HJS leader Charudatt Pingle said that" we are expecting more than 400 delegates from 150 Hindu organizations from all over the nation, Nepal, Sri Lanka and Bangladesh". Sources say that it will be the Sixth Convention held by HJS.

The leaders of the meeting have expressed their concern regarding beef consumption and said that "the Supreme Court had given clear directives on this issue". Finally, the Hindu organizations advisory said that "we will pass a resolution and we will force the State government in Goa to implement beef ban so that our culture is preserved".
