Plastic Rice offers Rs.50 Thousand Cash Prize

Vijayawada, June 9: On behalf of Rumors of plastic rice, chairman of the All India Rice Miller Federation and Rice Miller Association President Gummadi Venkateswara Rao announced Rs 50 thousand for each Quinta, for proving the Plastic Rice. He announced it here on Thursday.

He spoke at a meeting held at the Rice Millers Association Hall in Vijayawada on Thursday.

He said 'Don't believe the rumors which are coming in TV or media that mixing of Plastic Rice in Rice which is coming from Mill.' Adding plastic Rice in rice is impossible, he added.

Recently, food inspectors collected Rice samples and sent to the tests and proved that there was nothing wrong with the rice. The Government has been keen to announce that there is no tax on foodgrains in the GST which will be implemented from July.
