Microsoft buys Israeli startup Hexadite

San Francisco June 9: A major acquisition took place yesterday.Microsoft has acquired Hexadite an Israeli startup. Sources say that company has signed a deal worth $ 100 million. Currently the startup offers solutions that use Artificial Intelligence AI to identify and prevent cyber attacks.

Terry Myerson, executive vice president, Windows and Devices Group said that "we always look forward to expanding company's existing security portfolio with the infusion of latest technology based innovations in areas of AI and machine learning". He also said that the new acquisition will help the company to deliver our customers more security features and improve their user experience.

Microsoft has already acquired Aorato, Adallom and Secure Islands which offer security solutions. The startup company said that the latest offer made by Windows owners was attractive and our employees feel proud to be a part of the larger global organization.
