PM Modi approves IPO of IREDA

New Delhi, June 7: Central Government has taken some key decisions today.Union Cabinet Chaired by Prime Minister Modi has taken the following decisions.

* MoU between India and Korea for export credit of USD 9 billion approved: This will help India to receive support from Kenya regarding Infrastructural Development.

* Agreement between India and Cyprus on Merchant Shipping has been approved: The agreement in Merchant Shipping will help in the development of sea trade between the two nations.

* Approved Bilateral MoU between India and Iran: The decision will help Securities and Exchange Board of India (SEBI) and Securities and Exchange Organization (SEO), Iran to cooperate mutually on matters related to the securities market.

* MoU between India and Mali for standardization and conformity assessment: The MoU aims for closer cooperation and provides a mechanism through which India and Mali can work together towards the strengthening and standardization and conformity assessment activities related to sharing of expertise in mutual trade.

* Agreement between India and Somalia on the transfer of sentenced persons: This helps Indian prisoners imprisoned in Somalia or vice-versa to be near to their families, for serving the remaining part of their sentence.

* Cabinet approves the transfer of land belonging to IISWC Research Centre at Vasad, Gujarat to NHAI: It helps in expansion of NH -18 in Ahmedabad and Vadodara.

* Cabinet approves Initial Public Offer (IPO) of Indian Renewable Energy Development Agency Limited: This will the company to raise funds from the market.

* Cabinet approves the development of four landing from of Pandoh bypass to Takoli section of National Highway (NH) - 21 in Himachal Pradesh: This would improve the infrastructure in the State.
