Pilgrims died in accident near Shirdi

Nashik June 06: In a brutal incident, Four persons from Nalgonda were killed and another eight injured when two auto rickshaws, in which they were traveling, were mowed down by a lorry near Kopargaon in Ahmed Nagar district of Maharashtra here on Sunday.

Coming to details, Two women G. Mangamma (55) and P. Venkatamma (35) were killed on the spot while one more died on way to hospital and the fourth on reaching there.



The victims belonged to Marriguda and Nidamanuru mandals in Nalgonda district.Family members of G. Mangamma including her two granddaughters suffered severe injuries.

All of them were on way to Saibaba temple at Shirdi on a pilgrimage. The bodies were shifted to Nashik civil hospital.
