First womens TV channel launched

Afghanistan, June 5: In this present Generation, women are moving in all Categories with success. They are giving their mark in every work and growing into the higher level. There are also Holding top positions in the Companies. A new TV channel dedicated to Women has launched last month in Afghanistan.

Yet, discrimination against women around the world is continuing and Sexual discrimination is also growing with the difference showing to freedom of women. There are going to fight against them.

Usually, women appear as a news reader in the channels. Duties are performed in various disciplines also.

But in Afghanistan, some women have started a TV channel last month. The TV channel, which is entitled as 'ZAN TV (Women TV), is containing only women's employees. All Programmakers, writers are also women only. But in 16 boys are working in The camera operation, graphics, and editing department.



20-year-old Khatira Ahmadi, Producer at the station said 'I am so happy that this TV station has been created for women because there are women in our society who are not aware of their rights.'

'So this station represents women and we work to raise the voice of women so they can defend their rights,' she said.
