Book of Saddam Hussein s last days

New York, June 5: Will Bardenwerper a guard of Saddam Hussein wrote a book about Saddam and shared some interesting topics about his last days.

Iraqi dictator Saddam Hussein, who ruled Iraq for three decades, was hanged in 2006 at the age of 69. US soldiers from the 551st Military Police Company, who came to call themselves as 'The Super Twelve', used to watch the Hussein.

Among the guards 12 guards, one was the author of the book.

According to New Book, 'Saddam spent his final days listening songs to American singer Mary J Blige. He used to eat Omelets, muffins, cakes and Fresh fruits for his Breakfast, If the omelet was 'torn,' he would reject it.

Sources said The dictator's last days, and the experiences of his American guards, are recounted in the new book, in the name 'The Prisoner in His Palace: Saddam Hussein, His American Guards, and What History Leaves Unsaid', by Will Bardenwerper.



One day Saddam son Uday made a 'terrible mistake' that made Saddam 'very angry'. Uday had shot up a party, killing several people and wounding several more.

Saddam told the guards that 'I was very angry with Uday so I burned all his cars,' which it contain a large collection of luxury automobiles, including hundreds of Rolls-Royces, Ferraris, and Porsches, mentioned in the new book.
