Sai Praneeth wins Thailand open

Bangkok, June 5: A good news from Indian badminton player. Indian shuttler B. Sai Praneeth has won the Thailand Open Grand Prix badminton championships.

He has defeated Indonesian Jonatan Christie in the final to capture the men's singles title on Sunday. Praneeth lost the first game 17-21 but came back strongly to take the next two games, 21-18, 21-19, respectively. The opponent has played his best to defeat him by he couldn't. Christene has given away some loose points by scoring on the net.

World No.24 badminton player and Hyderabadi won the second title of the year after his Singapore Open Superseries triumph in April. Badminton Association of India has announced a cash reward of Rs three lakh for shuttle B. Sai Praneeth for winning the tournament. The total Prize money of the title is $ 1,20,000.
