Hyderabad, October 18 : The Prajavani programme, the first one after new districts formed,had good response. Warangal Rural District Collector Prashant Patil personally received applications from the people. He directed the officials to take measures immediately to solve the problems.
Public made long queues to submit their grievances in Bhupalpalli Jayashankar, Mahabubabad, Siddipet, Sangareddy, Jagtial, Sircilla Rajanna, Mancherial, Peddapalli, Suryapet, Kothagudem Bhadradri, Wanaparthy, Nagar Kurnool, Vikarabad and Gadwal Jogulamba districts.
They explained their problems to the officials.Siddipet Collector Venkatram Reddy took the applications from the public. He said it took the people an entire day to reach Sangareddy earlier and now it was more convenient after Siddipet district was formed.
In many districts, the Collectors participated in the prajavani and interacted with the public. In Siricilla, handloom workers and Mid-Manair oustees submitted their grievances, while in Mancherial and Peddapalli, more applications were received seeking Asara, Abhaya Hastam and physically handicapped pensions.
