Muslims top in Civils

New Delhi, June 3: As we all know the Civil Services Examination results has declared. Out of 1,099 candidates, 50 Candidates who cleared the civil services examination this year were Muslims.

Zafar Mahmood, chairman and founder of the Zakat Foundation said 'This is the first time so many Muslims have cleared the Union Public Service Commission examination,'. 'It seems the community is progressing,' he added.

In Delhiā€™s Jamia Nagar The NGO runs a Civil Service coaching center for Muslim youth. About 4.5% of the students cleared the civil service examination this year are Muslim.

Out of first 100 candidates, almost 10% were hailed from the community, which is considered the most deprived among all religious groups. Moreover, candidates from strife-ridden Jammu and Kashmir took the lead in this Civils Exam. Bilal Mohiuddin Bhat bagging the tenth rank and 13 others got successful ranks.
