Prashanth Bishnoi Shooter arrested

New Delhi, June 3: The Directorate of Revenue Intelligence (DRI) Officials arrested Prashant Bishnoi a national-level shooter, who is one of the main suspects in a multi-crore gun-running and wildlife smuggling operation, on Thursday.

More than 100 firearms and 200,000 cartridges were recovered by DRI between April 28 and 30.

After one Month he was arrested by DRI with the raids conducted at Bishnoi’s residence in Uttar Pradesh’s Meerut. The Officials recovered of about Rs.1 crore in cash, 117 kg of nilgai meat, besides over a 100 illegally imported firearms, horns, and skins of leopards and blackbucks.



Bishnoi is alleged to in the smuggling of Wildlife. He appeared before DRI officials in response to a summons issued against him on Thursday.

Official sources said 'Following the interrogation, he was arrested'. The Accused was produced before a court on Friday, which sent him to 14 days in judicial custody.
