Why Jagan is staying away from V'wada

Vijayawada, October 17: YSR Congress chief Y.S. Jaganmohan Reddy is still operating the party affairs from Hyderabad. This may send wrong message to the public that he is afraid of staying in Vijayawada, observed the party leaders. The party leaders attacked AP Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu for ruling the State from Hyderabad for about one and half year after the State formation, alleging that Naidu was here to protect his properties. Later, Naidu shifted to Vijayawada and by that time Congress, BJP, CPI and CPM have set up their offices.

The YSRCP leaders were unhappy as they don't have party office in Vijayawada and lamented that they have to travel from Hyderabad to Vijayawada on every occasion. Jagan is continuing party meetings, programmes, press meets etc from the Telangana capital city.

The party chief suggested the leaders to look out for a suitable land for office construction either in Guntur or Vijayawada one year ago. According to sources, the party leaders have neglected his suggestion afraid as they were afraid of having to bear the expenses.

Jagan's proposal to construct office beside his media office in Vijayawada was not implemented for unknown reasons.
