Central Government granted Super Specialty seats

Hyderabad, June 2nd: The Central Government has approved Seven (07) Super Specialty seats in the Telugu States.

In Andhra Pradesh, Guntur Medical College has 2 seats are approved in the Cardiology Division, More two seats were increased in Telangana State at NIMS Hospital in Nephrology Division in addition to the existing 4 seats.

Two more seats increased while Currently there is a seat in the Cardiology Division of Gandhi Medical College, while one more seat is increased in Mamata Medical College in Urology department, as it is already having one seat from earlier.

At the same time, the central government rejected many super specialty courses in TeluguStates. It said 'The lack of infrastructure in accordance with the provisions of the Indian Medical Council, the absence of qualified teaching staff and other reasons for refusing to set up seat segments'.

They can submit their application by correcting all the deficiencies in the next year, it added.
