Hyderabad June 01: A good news to the Homeguard employees, The Telangana Govt is likely to provide the hike to the 19000 Home guards across the state.

According to the police sources, on the Telangana Formation day Chief Minister Chandra Shekhar Rao likely to announce the above statement.

Earlier the govt said that the home guards employees will be regularised, but due to some undisclosed reasons, they are hiking their salaries.

Before bifurcation, the home guard salaries only 6000, but after coming to power Telangana govt has been hiked the salaries in two sessions, for each session they have increased the 3000 rupees. in the result, they are getting the 12000 pay as of now.

However, KCRI has previously ordered the DGP to propose salary home guards to ensure the closure of the Constable Scale. In January, the Police Department sent proposals to the government. The Department of Police has sought a decision to pay Rs 19,884 for the home guards. The scale of the scale according to the proposal.

Extra burden on government:

The Finance Ministry estimates that the new Pay Scale will pay an additional to the govt Rs 38.17 crore per month and Rs 458.15 crore every year Apart from this, the uniform allowance for each home guard will be Rs 6.7 crore.
