TV remote became the reason

Hyderabad May 30: Following a fight with her brother over the TV remote, a 13-year-old girl hangs herself at their house in Nizampet on Sunday night, according to the sources.

While going to details, The victim was, Jyotsna, daughter of Prakash, a private employee and Vimala, a housewife from Rajiv Gruhakalpa Colony in Nizampet Hyderabad.

Jyotsna is a VII class student. While their mother was busy preparing dinner, Jyotsna had an argument with her elder brother, Praveen(16) about using TV remote.



As Praveen refused to give her the TV remote, frustrated by Jyotsna and dashed into the bedroom and hanged herself to the window grill with a stole.

As Jyotsna did not open the bedroom door for a long time and worried family members tried calling her. When Jyotsna did not respond, the family members broke the door latch and found her hanging.
