Release the funds of National Green Highways

Hyderabad, May 27: The Telangana state forest department has asked the central government here on Friday to release Rs 34 crore of funds planted in Telangana under the scheme of National Green Highways.
The Union Surface Transport aims to turn national highways into greenery almost 1 lakh kilometre across the country. The program was started last year. The Telangana Forest Division has a total of 366 km planting in Hyderabad-Vijayawada and Hyderabad-Bangalore two national highways.
Meanwhile, The letter was issued on Friday to the Center to release Rs 34 crore so far.
