Chanda Kochhar ICICI bank CEO gets huge salary

New Delhi MAY 27: A good news for ICICI bank CEO.
Chanda Kochhar, the head of country's largest private sector ICICI Bank, has taken Rs7.85 crore as total remuneration in 2016-17. The rise in salary is 64% compared to last year.

ICICI Bank MD basic salary has increased by 15% and currently stands at Rs2.67 crore as on March 2017. The salary calculated per day would be Rs2.18 lakh.



Bank officials have said that she took a performance bonus of Rs2.2 crore last year. The bank also provides her free services such as accommodation, gas, electricity, club fees, group insurance, use of car and telephone at residence, reimbursement and leave travel concession, provident funds.

Sources say that her monthly basic salary would be in the range of Rs1,350,000-Rs 2,600,000.

Finally, she refused to comment on her salary when media persons asked her question but she spoke about future plans for the bank.
