Naga Chaitanyas Ra Randoyi Veduka Chuddam movie released

Hyderabad, May 27: The unexpected controversy of Chalapathi Rao in the pre-release event of 'Ra Randoyi Veduka Chuddam' has drawn a lot of attention towards Naga Chaitanya and Rakul Preet starrer. Also, Chaitu's impending wedding with Sam, the film's interesting trailer has all drawn good buzz for the film.

Since this is director Kalyan Krishna's immediate film after 'Soggade Chinni Nayana' that went on to be a highest grossing film in Nag's career, all eyes are on the film as it would prove whether Kalyan is one-film wonder or not. Read on to know our verdict.

Story :
Bhramarambha (Rakul Preet) is the most pampered girl in her family. Her doting family gives her whatever she asks or wants. She loves her family so much and abides them. And then she meets Shiva (Naga Chaitanya) a happy-go-lucky guy who is the heir apparent to business tycoon Krishna (Jagapathi Babu), at a wedding. Shiva falls for Bhramarambha in the very first meet. But she is hardly impressed by him.

After a turn of events, Bhramarambha goes to Vizag to pursue post graduation (MBA). This is her first visit out of her town without family. She takes Shiva's help to adjust in the city and both get along. While Shiva continues to hide his feelings for her, Bhramarambha hardly cares him unless she needs him for any work.

Then they break up their friendship. Bhramarambha agrees to marry her Bava. But she feels missing Shiva. That's when she realizes her love for him. And she conveys her doting dad about her love. Though he agrees first, he learns that he is the son of his old friend Krishna who is now his enemy. What's the back story? Will Shiva and Bhramarambha unite? What comes in between them?

Performances:
Rakul Preet has played a chaste village belle who is clad in langa vonis. This is her first de-glamourous role but still, she is easy on eyes. Chaitu is good as Shiva. He is suave and delivers subtle performance that is needed. The other cast did give their best. Vennela Kishore is hilarious. Sampath is as usual. Yet again, Jagapathi Babu shines. He is uber stylish. All the performances in the film work.

Analysis

Director Kalyan takes it too long to establish Bhramarambha and Shiva and their family feud. Till interval, the film moves slowly. While the first half is draggy with a few laughs, thanks to Vennela Kishore, the second half is certainly a saving grace for the film.

Songs at portions obstruct the narrative. Post-interval, the film picks up. As the story unfolds, it makes for an interesting watch. Pre-climax is good. Flashback twist comes in handy. Climax too is good. Technically, the film is good. Devi Sri Prasad's music is a dampener. Background score too is flat and lacks depth.

Final Verdict

'Ra Randoyi Veduka Chuddam' is a family entertainer. It makes for a decent watch.
