Amit Shah announced CM candidate for Karnataka Assembly

Bengaluru, May 27: It is known that BJP Chief Amit Shah in South India to the campaign, recently he visited Telangana and Andhra Pradesh and now on Friday Amit Shah is in Karnataka. There he announced BJP candidate for the 2018 Karnataka Assembly Polls.

Former CM BS Yeddyurappa as the CM Candidate of the party. "BJP will fight next Assembly Polls in Karnataka under the leadership of Yeddyurappa," he declared.

Yeddyurappa is the leader who helped BJP party formed the Government for the first time in a Southern State. He powered the saffron party to victory in 2008 Assembly Polls. He, however, was forced to resign due to corruption charges.



Former CM floated a new party in 2011 but came back to BJP after failing miserably in 2013 Polls. At present, Yeddyurappa is the President of Karnataka BJP. He got the opportunity to bring back BJP to power after a decade.

On the other hand, Amit Shah declared Gujarat CM Vijay Rupani will be the Chief Ministerial choice for Assembly Polls scheduled to happen by the end of 2017. He exudes confidence that BJP will win 150 out of 180 Seats in Gujarat Assembly.
