Couple held for robbery

Nizamabad, May 26: The Police have arrested a couple here on Thursday, who were allegedly tried to stealing mobile phones and gold ornaments from a working women hostel.

The culprits identified as V Padma, 29, a married woman from Nizamabad came to Hyderabad along with her paramour Pavan Kumar, 23.

Those two have stayed separately in hostels in Dilsukhnagar, who were not getting a home on rent.Under financial constraints, Padma allegedly started stealing smart mobile phones of her fellow hostel mates in Manasa Pragathi girls hostel.

In the last few months, she stole three mobiles and a gold chain.Cops took her into custody after one of the stolen mobile phones was traced to Pavan Kumar's mobile number.During interrogation, the lady spilled the beans and reportedly confessed to the crime.
