MLA R Krishnaiah likely to join BJP

Hyderabad, May 24: As we knew that, Former Union Minister and BJP senior leader Purandeswari has met the TDP MLA R Krishnaiah here on Sunday.The meeting has made an attention in the political backdrop.

From this perspective, BC leader and TDP MLA R Krishnaiah seems to be moving closer towards BJP and speculations are rife that he would soon join the saffron party.

Krishnaiah attended OBC meeting chaired by BJP National president Amit Shah on Tuesday evening. Recently, NDA govt has given constitutional status for OBC Commission, from this he praised the BJP party here on Tuesday.



He also said that BCs were ready to support BJP. Talking to media earlier, Krishnaiah denied that he was joining BJP.

He said that the upper caste people had made politics a costly affair; and as a result, the BCs were denied opportunities to contest the elections.

He said the saffron party was taking a lot of care for the uplift of BCs. He said BCs are going to benefit under the BJP regime.

It may be recalled that the BJP leader D Purandeswari had met Krishnaiah ahead of the visit of Amit Shah and invited him to join the party.
