President Prime Minister condemns terrorist attack

New Delhi, May 24: Indian top political leaders have condemned the terrorist attack of England.

Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Tuesday has condemned the blast in Manchester. He has expressed his feelings by posting a tweet saying that "Pained by the attack in Manchester. We strongly condemn it. Our thoughts are with the families of the killed & prayers with the injured".

He also expressed that all global countries must unite to fight against terrorism.

President Pranab Mukherjee on Tuesday condemned the terrorist attack that took place in Manchester on Monday night.President Mukherjee has expressed his grievance and extended support to the people of United Kingdom.



He posted a tweet saying that "I am deeply saddened by the attack, hope that the UK government will take strong action against the offenders and my government will ensure the needed help".

Other top leaders such as Mamta Banerjee have expressed their condolences to the people who have died in the attack.

Police said that until now 22 killed are dead and 59 people injured.They have also said they have identified the suicide bomber as Salman Abedi.
