TS ECET 2017 results are fake

Hyderabad, May 23: As we know that, The Telangana E-CET 2017 results have been declared on May 20. A total of 50 students staged a protest at Jawaharlal Nehru Technological University, Hyderabad (JNTUH) on Monday for the technical goof-up in the recently declared E-CET results.

The TS-ECET qualified students raised slogans against the university and demanded a re-examination on Monday afternoon.The students were not convinced with the May 20 results.

They claimed that the result was incorrect. "I attempted all the questions in the examination. But when I checked the OMR sheet, it showed that almost 60 questions were shown as not attempted," said a student Mohammed Abiq.



The exam which was conducted online on May 6, was delayed due to some technical glitch. While the exam was scheduled to begin at 2 pm, it started only at 5 pm at several centers.

Students alleged that at some test centers such as St Peters and Vardhaman engineering Colleges, among others, the examination went on till 9 pm.

Many of the students also raised concerns over the release of the primary key.

Reacting to the allegations, the JNTUH vice-chancellor Venugopal Reddy said that there was absolutely no problem with the OMR sheet. "The results are final and there will be no re-test," he added.

Over 22,450 candidates appeared for the exam to secure a lateral entry into various courses such as BE, BTech, and BPharm.
