MARS:Heavy Rains distorted its shape

Washington MAY 18: Scientists have found out a new reason for the shape of MARS planet.

They have said that Heavy rains on the planet may have reshaped the red planet.

Researchers also said that changes in the atmosphere on Mars made it rain harder and harder. The rains may have created cracks similar to the one's present on our planet.

scientists have found that there are no chances of rain these years and this incident happened a billion years ago.

The study was carried out by Robert Craddock and Ralph Lorenz from the Johns Hopkins University of the US.



They have said that until now many people have researched on earth but no one concentrated on 4 Th planet of solar system.

University sources say that they have a very complex research methodology to understand the relationship between rain atmosphere and surface of the planet.Their study was published in the journal Icarus.

Finally, the scientists concluded that atmospheric pressure has played a main role in the size of rain drops and this, in turn, affects the shape of Mars planet.
