Sivagami:

The role of Sivagami was offered to Sridevi but Ramya Krishnan was brought on board after the former quoted unreasonable remuneration.

Avantika:

Imagining any actress other than milky beauty Tamanna in the role of Avantika is very difficult after swooning over the 'Pachabottesina' song on big screen. But, in reality, audacious Bollywood beauty Sonam Kapoor was first offered the character of Avantika.

Kattappa:

The 'Complete Actor' would have brought immense value to the character of Kattappa if he took up the chance offered by Rajamouli. Sathyaraj, however, has done full justice to the vision of Rajamouli.

Bhallaladeva

This 'Raktha Charithra', the star was also offered the role of Bhallaladeva after John Abraham rejected it. Baahubali fans will surely thank the almighty for making him reject the role. His screen presence wouldn't have been as menacing as Rana Daggubati's.

When the ruthless and beasty character of Bhallaladeva was created, Rajamouli couldn't think of anyone but John owing to his enviable physique. John was sent the film's script but he didn't even bother to reply, say reports.

This South Indian 'Lady Superstar' Nayanthara is of late delivering heroine-centric blockbusters and also acting some big ticket South films. She was the first choice of Rajamouli to essay the role of Devasena. As Nayan rejected to allot bulk dates, Rajamouli signed Anushka instead.

Baahubali:

According to media reports, when Rajamouli wanted to make Baahubali, taking the film's huge budget into account, he wanted to cast a Bollywood star in the lead role. Hrithik was the first choice but the actor reportedly turned down the film as he didn't realize the film's scale and Rajamouli's vision.

But all these reports are false because of Rajamouli him self-told that he suggested his father make the story based on Prabhas, and then Baahubali story brown there. Even some reports are true like Sridevi was the first choice for the Sivagami and according to reports, Mohan Lal was the first choice for Kattappa.
