Police arrested a money lender for kidnapping a woman

Hyderabad, May 17: A money-lender was arrested for kidnaping a 35-year-old woman after her husband failed to repay a loan in the city here.

While coming to detail, The accused Srinivas had lent Rs 4 lakh to the woman's husband, who works as a watchman one year ago.The woman's husband repaid Rs 1 lakh, but couldn't pay off the balance and the interest.

Here On Tuesday night, Srinivas and two others went to the watchman's house and demanded the loan repayment.As the watchman was not in the home, they demanded his wife Nagamani to pay the loan and dragged her to a car and abducted her.

After learning about the kidnap, the woman's son lodged a complaint with the police.

Police rescued the woman while they were heading to Nizamabad in a car, which was recorded in the CCTV footage. Police took Srinivas and two others into custody.
