Kulbushan Jadhav case :Harish Salve charges RS 1 as his fee

New Delhi, MAY 17: India had chosen Harish salve as the lawyer to defend the Kulbushan Jadhav case at the ICJ.

He has put strong arguments in the court against Pakistan for awarding death sentence to him.

There has been a growing criticism against the fee lawyer charges for a case. Sources say that he charges Rs 30 lakhs to defend a case in Supreme Court.

Reacting to criticism Indian External Affairs Minister Sushma Swaraj has clarified about the lawyer's fee.

She posted a tweet that "Former solicitor general of India, Salve has charged only Rupee 1 as his fee for defending the case at ICJ".



Earlier Sanjeev goyal of Congress has tweeted that "India could have chosen any other lawyer because and can win the case with less cost".

She had also once again assured the country that "We are confident Jadhav will get justice".

Finally, many people have appreciated the minister for making sure that country hired the best lawyer for such a very nominal fees.
