HN Sinor quits BBB

Mumbai, MAY 13: HN Sinor has resigned to his membership of Bank Board Bureau. We Know BBB was formed last year with the Prime minister approval.

We also know that Board was formed to handle senior-level appointments in Public Sector Banks (PSBs). The member of the board earlier worked in ICICI Bank and Central Bank of India.

His resignation to membership took everyone by surprise. Some officials say that he resigned because he felt very disappointed after two bank chiefs were demoted.

We know that government shifted "Usha Ananthasubramanian from Punjab National Bank to Allahabad Bank and Melwyn Rego from Bank of India to Syndicate Bank. last week as a part of the reshuffle.

His main dissatisfaction was “BBB was not consulted while shifting them. We know that PM has appointed Vinod Rai, former CAG of India, as the Chairman of BBB. The other members of boards include Anil K Khandelwal and Rupa Kudwa.
