Renault Duster crashes in Crash Test

Delhi MAY 11: There is a growing concern in Indian people regarding the safety of cars in which they travel. As a result, the customers are asking crash test reports of the car they want to buy.

So, Indian manufactured cars also undertook the crash test. The results of the tests are as follow.

The Renault Duster has received zero stars for adult protection. The Duster has received 2 stars for rear child protection.



We know that Global NCAP conducts a series of crash tests of popular Indian market models every year. The second round of tests is being conducted for Indian made cars.

The main reason for the failure of the car in the crash test is that the car doesn't contain airbags. This is evident because the car containing driver side airbag received a 3-star rating in the test.

So it's high time that Indian car manufacturers adopt UN standards and fit airbags in the vehicles to save lives of the people.
