Women Welfare Organizations to get Rs. 10 lakhs Loan

HYDERABAD, MAY 10: Greater Hyderabad Municipal Corporation has provided loans of up to Rs 10 lakh for various women self-help communities, in Greater.
Till now, each Group has given up to a maximum of Rs 5 to 6 lakhs loan.
10 Groups are Selected and provided the Loan assistance of Rs 10 Lakh for each group, who are Paying loans regularly and participating in the social development programs organised by the Company.
There is a possibility to get Rs. 1 Lakh for each member which consists of 10 Members per Group.
This helps them to create employment, such as small businesses and tailoring.
In Greater, there are 41 thousand Women welfare Associations. Out of these, only 50 percent groups are repaying loans regularly.
In the 2016-17 financial year, a total of 16,624 groups they have kept the target to provide Rs. 248.68 crore through banking.
However, they have provided Rs. 281.68 Crores.
