AP Post office to become cashless?

TIRUPATHI MAY 09: As we all know that, The Postal Department has joined hands with the State Bank of India to promote cashless transactions.

Now they are making arrangements to Provide the Cashless Transactions.

Coming to matter, To provide cashless Transactions department is planning to buy Swiping Machines.

According to the deal made with State Bank Of India (SBI), dept is going to arrange SBI Point Of Sale (POI) in a phased manner in all the head Post Offices.

In Next 2 two months, they are planning to arrange 5 to 6 Machines in every post office, at 25 Head Offices (HO) in AP circle.

The Department of Posts has taken a decision on non-cash services and has been decided to accelerate the postal services as banking services and made an agreement with SBI.

Telangana Postal Circle Officials are also planning to implement the POI's in Secunderabad and Warangal Head Post offices for the First installment.

If POI machines are available, people can use all their credit cards and debit cards, including speed post, registered post, money order, and cash transfer.
