Telangana Governor commented about Ph.D degrees

Nalgonda, May 05: The Governor of Telugu States ESL Narasimhan has attended the first convocation of Mahatma Gandhi University in Nalgonda here on Friday.

He had stated that The "Cut & Paste" degrees of Doctor of Philosophy (Ph Ds) were of no use at all.

Participating in the convocation, the Governor stressed the need for deep study and research on the actual problems of the people.

He also observed that the College teachers have a pivotal role in inculcating moral values among the students.



Stating that values-based education was indispensable, the Governor exhorted the Universities to strive to impart qualitative and creative education to the students.

Later, the Governor presented gold medals to meritorious students on the occasion.
