Two more Bank robbery in Kashmir

Kashmir May 04: Due to the Demonetization, there was Falling short of funds since it was announced on November 8, terrorists active in the Kashmir Valley have resorted to a new tactic robbing banks and ATMs.

While going to matter, Within two hours, the militants robbed two banks in south Kashmir's Pulwama district on Wednesday.

Two banks robbery lists as follows that Rs 4.92 lakh was looted from a rural bank branch in south Kashmir's Pulwama district and another one a branch of Jammu and Kashmir Bank was robbed of Rs 1.6 lakh.

In the first robbery case, four armed militants entered the Wahibugh branch of Elaquai Dehati Bank around 1.50 PM and looted Rs 4,92,800 at gunpoint before fleeing.The second robbery incident took place at the Nehama branch of the Jammu and Kashmir Bank in Pulwama around 3.20 PM. Reports say gunmen were involved and looted nearly Rs 1.6 lakh from the branch.
