Rs 21,000 fine on women talking on phones while walking

Mathura May 03: Here is the warning to girls, as A panchayat of Madora village in Mathura district, decided to charge a fine of Rs 21,000 fine on girls if they are found talking on mobile phones while walking on the streets of the village, here on Wednesday.

The decision was announced by former village pradhan Mohd.Gaffar on Tuesday, May 2, who said that the Muslim community here supported chief minister Yogi Adityanath’s campaign against cow slaughter.

While going to matter, In order to curb the crime aginst the woman Panchayat reportedly have imposed this fine.



Meanwhile, The village pradhan Usman said that five committees to control crime in the village have been formed. As per the reports, the committees will report to a higher authority which would take a final decision on the crimes being reported.

"If the super committee would fail to control incidents of crime, then the police would be informed," said Usman.
