Anantnag Bye poll cancelled by EC

NewDelhi MAY 3: The election commission on Tuesday night decided to cancel the bye-poll election to Anantnag constituency in Jammu and Kashmir.

We know that Anantnag constituency is an important
constituency in Jammu & Kashmir.

The election to this constituency was supposed to be held on May 25.

The state government officials gave a report to the election commission that there is no peaceful situation in the Kashmir valley and there is fear in the people because of the rise of separatists in Kashmir.



We know that separatists have given a bandh call during the bye-poll elections.

Finally, the election commission has agreed to the state government officials view and postponed the election till there is a peace in the constituency.
