Passenger sends hijack tweet to PM

Jaipur April 29: A passenger has been tweeted an SOS message to Prime Minister Narendra Modi informing him about a possible "hijack" situation asking him for help, he tweeted here on Friday.

While going to matter, Jet Airways flight 9W355 en route Mumbai-Delhi was diverted to Jaipur earlier today because it was reportedly diverted due to bad weather conditions and air traffic congestion.

Twitter user Nitin took to the social media platform on Thursday morning after his flight was diverted and wrote, "@narendramodi sir we have been in jet airways flight for past 3 hrs, looks like hijacked, pl help 9W355."



According to believed sources, the Jet Airways spokesperson in an interview said that security had to be activated because of the tweet and the passenger was asked to step out of the plane for questioning, while the aircraft was checked thoroughly before taking off for Delhi.

However, Passenger Nithin was arrested by the Police officials here on Friday.
