President, PM Modi to attend CHARDHAM Yatra

DEHRADUN APRIL 29: Good News for Pilgrims.Indias famous Pilgrim Temples of 4 popular sites in the Himalayas have Started yesterday. Popularly was known as Chardham Yatra.

This Yatra /route connects 4 important temples located in the Himalayas on the Banks of river Ganga and Yamuna.

People feel scared after visiting these places and also feel that once in Life Time we should visit these places.Being Located in the Himalayas these Temples are opened only for 6 months during the Summer and Monsoon season.

These temples are closed in Winter due to the high snowfall in these places.



The annual Chardham Yatra in has begun yesterday with the reopening of the doors of Gangotri and Yamunotri temples in Uttarakhand.

The Temples were opened after chanting of Vedic hymns by Temple Priests.

Thousands of pilgrims Visited these temples and felt blessed because the temples were opened on Special Occasion Of Akshaya Trithiya.

The other two major temples include Kedarnath and Badrinath on the Chardham circuit will be reopened on May 3 and May 6.It is confirmed that President Pranab Mukherjee will attend reopening ceremony of Badrinath Temple on MAY 6.

PM Modi is expected to attend the reopening ceremony of Kedarnath temple on MAY 3.
