New Delhi, April 28: As we know that, The center has scrapped the old currency in November 2016, which was greatly affected the common men in the country.

Now these demonetized notes were may return in a new form.The govt has thanked the students and faculty at the National Institute of Design, Ahmedabad.

The premier design institute has declared a national-level competition in which students can use shredded currency notes of Rs 500 and Rs 1,000 to create art and decorative products.



For the purpose, NID has received around 200 kgs of shredded notes in four consignments of 50 kg each from the Reserve Bank of India.

NDI has been planning to conduct the competitions to the students.If any student had given an innovative thought to use those scrapped notes, he will be rewarded gift and cash prize worth from Rs.50,000 to Rs.75,000.
