Supreme Court raps Centre and State Governments for....

Delhi April 28: Supreme Court on Thursday fired over State Governments for not establishing advisory committees on Diaster Management.

The Court has questioned the Centre "what are you Waiting for do you want people to die when another disaster occurs"?.

the became angry when National Diaster Management Authority NDMA responded that they don't know whether states have appointed their Own State Advisory Committee.

NDMA also stated that they written letters to the state government in this regard and they have not got any Response.

Don't delay Implementation of Lokpal act:

The Supreme Court while hearing another case said that don't delay the Implementation of Lokpal and Lokayukta Act 2013. The court said there is no leader of opposition in the committee the Chairperson and two other members (CJI, Loksabha Speaker) can appoint important legal advisors.

The court finally said that because of Vacancy don't delay the appointment.
