Urjit Patels views on protectionism

NewYork April 25: As we all know the US President Trump last week has ordered to review entire H-1b visa policy to promote Buy American and Hire American Policy which made cold running in the Spine of Indian IT Companies.

Soft spoken URjit Patel has spoken his mind when replying to a question relating to the major protectionism, policies of major world economic countries.

Reserve Bank Of Indias Governor spoke on the US Visa Regime during his US Vist.

The RBI Governor's answers assume significance at a time when countries like the United States and Australia have tightened their visa immigration policies to ensure their home-grown companies don't outsource employees and hire local talents.



Patel has questioned: "Where would global manufacturing companies such as Apple, procuring theCISCO, IBM be if procuring the best products and hiring talent from across the world?

"RBI Cheif said that all developing countries have benefitted from the fair open trade practices and it will hurt all countries if such policies are not taken back.

Although the US will not hear Patel's Reservations against protectionism Policies lets hopes that the US government will listen to ours Finance Ministers voice such as "these policies will cause severe damage to world peace".
