Governor term to extend

Hyderabad, April 25: The tenure period of Governor ESL Narasimhan's post of the states AP and Telangana will be ended on May 2nd. The Centre has planning to extend the period of the governor.

ESL Narasimhan was served as Chattisgarh governor in January 2007. But after the Telangana agitation peaked, Narasimhan was made AP governor in January 2010.

On May 3, 2012, the Manmohan Singh government gave him a second five-year tenure that will last until May 2, 2017.



The Centre has impressed by the service of Narasimhan, especially after the bifurcation of the states AP and Telangana. He had participated in various conferences and solved many issues.

As we know, KCR visited Delhi to meet the Modi and had discussed many issues regarding state development. In this perspective, The governor's issue also discussed, the report said.
